Last week, Tussell’s database of government contracts surfaced new tender opportunities worth £8.7B published by almost 400 public sector buyers. 85% of these opportunities were marked as being suitable for bids from SMEs.
 

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has just published the G-Cloud 10 framework agreement, covering cloud-based services across the wider public sector. 3,504 suppliers are listed on the agreement, including Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. According to CCS, 90% of the suppliers listed are SMEs.

£60B of Business & Financial Services opportunities in 2018 so far

702 new opportunities to win government contracts worth £8.7B were published last week. £2.2B of opportunities were published in the Business & Financial Services sector - bringing the total value of opportunities in the sector to £60B so far this year.

£3.8B of Construction frameworks due to expire 

There are 333 frameworks in the Construction sector worth £3.8B due to expire by August 2019. The largest of these is a £320M framework issued by Sovereign Housing Group, which is due to expire in April 2019.

85% of new opportunities suitable for SMEs

Based on available data, 85% of tenders last week were marked as suitable for bids from SMEs. These had a total value of £2.5B, underlining the significant opportunities available to SMEs across the wider public sector.

Interserve wins £67M facilities management contract
