"Public organisations in the UK are buying more terrorism insurance, research by Tussell has found.
Between 2016 and 2017, premiums paid by public bodies for policies that included terror cover rose more than fourfold from £13mn ($18mn) to £56mn.
The largest public-sector policy named in the research was purchased by the Insurance London Consortium, an insurance-buying alliance of nine London boroughs. Camden, Croydon, Haringey, Harrow, Islington, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth, Sutton and Tower Hamlets together paid £21mn for a property and liability policy that included terrorism cover in February 2017."
