“Housing associations, local authorities and procurement consortia representing them have issued tenders for a maximum of £661m on fire safety upgrades in the past 12 months, according to data firm Tussell.

The largest tenders are for fire safety framework agreements and represent the total figure that could be spent on procurement lots over the lifetime of a tender.

Procurement consortia are made up of housing associations and local authorities that provide them with requirements and a budget.”
